In 1996, I was born, and the world was introduced to Michael Angelo Pappas. When I was five or so, I enrolled at PS87, and went there for two years. Then, after many interviews I decided to go to The School at Columbia University, where I met my best friend Martin. For the few years we played Xbox every day together and hung out at lunch and recess. Now we go to Frank McCourt together and are still good friends.
My one and only love is music, specifically rap, not hip hop, rap. I love to listen to it, and I love to write. I have been writing for as long as I can remember, and listening even before that. The first ever rap group I was introduced to was the Wu-Tang Clan. For a while that was the soundtrack to my life. I listened to them before school, on my way to school, and after school. It was all I listened to, and it was at that point where I knew I wanted to be some part of this, either making or producing music.
I've known for a long time that I wanted to make music, and I will once I get older and have the time. I am not sure where life will take me but at least I know I will always have music no matter where I go. That makes me feel very optimistic, because wherever I go, no matter what happens to me, I always know that I can just turn on the radio, and hear that music.
